Lady Pioneers Bounce Back With A Strong Game

The Women's Basketball team responded Saturday night at Columbia State after falling on the road to Jackson State, in the final seconds of the game, Wednesday night.  The 36 point road victory was the largest of the season and allowed the team to finish the regular season with momentum going into the TCCAA Conference Tournament on March 6th.  The Lady Pioneers had contributions from everyone on the team lead by Jemiah Harrison's 23 points and 18 rebounds.  Kendrea Duke had 19 points and 16 rebounds; Denisha Bowman had 6 points and 13 rebounds.  Finishing with 8 points each were Samantha Parker, Keanna Briscoe and Zoe Johnson; Alexyia Cartwright had 4 points.  The Lady Pioneers begin tournament preparation this week.
