Pioneers Swept at Home by Dyersburg State

After winning their 2 mid-week games against Cumberland University JV (11-0, 8-1) the Pioneers took on nationally ranked (#5) Dyersburg State in a TCCAA series.

Game one saw Dyersburg score 9 runs in the 3rd but the Pioneers came back to score 6 of their own in the bottom of the inning. In the end the lead was too much to overcome as the Eagles held on to win 13-9.

Games two and three did not go the Pioneers way with Dyersburg winning both games of the double header (9-2, 11-0).

The Pioneers will travel to Morristown, TN to take on #1 ranked Walters State this weekend.
