Vol State Women's Basketball Defeated by Chattanooga State

Volunteer State fell to Chattanooga State on Saturday, December 3, 56-51, even with Jemiah Harrison scoring 20 points.  Despite a strong finish, with 23 points in the final quarter, Volunteer State failed to secure the win.  Harrison found success all over the court for Volunteer State making 38% (8-for-21) of shots attempted while also sinking 67% (4-for-6) of free throws attempted. 
Kendrea Duke achieved double digits, scoring 13 points for Volunteer State (5-for-15).  Also chipping in for Volunteer State were Denisha Bowman (6 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks), Zoe Johnson (5 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block), Samantha Parker (5 points, 4 rebounds), and Keanna Briscoe (2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals).  Duke was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up 22 rebounds, three steals and three blocks.
